Introduction

The Leeds-SWJTU workshop aims to develop new collaborative research between UoL and SWJTU on statistical methods, machine learning and their applications to areas such as transport studies, medicine and healthcare, finance, economics and insurance.

Below are the research themes that will be discussed in the workshops.

1. Statistical methods for high-dimensional data.
2. Biostatistics and medical statistics.
3. Quality control and reliability analysis for railway and transportation networks.
4. Statistics and machine learning for finance and economics.
